Hi. I am building Packman’s packages for openSUSE Factory and I have a serious problem. I am building this packages at home, but I have slow upload right now. My ISP provides me only 10Mb/2Mb Internet connection. So I am able to sync my local openSUSE Factory copy and keep it up to date, but I am not able to provide this package for other openSUSE Factory user. Therefore I am trying to ask my readers to help me. I am able to upload this package to one mirror server on backbone, but I don’t have any. Can you provide me mirror service? Then mail me please. :-) I need some server in political neutral country (not U.S. and some other states where can be problem with software patents and other stuff.)
And the second problem is… I don’t have any x86_64 machine. :-( So if you anyone have any additional x86_64 and you can give me it or borrow (this is probably only for people from Ostrava :-) ) I will very appreciate that. I am thinking about buy a new box for this stuff. I am thinking about this machine:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Q9300 BOX ( 5 968,20 Kč [1]) Motherboard: ASUS P5E-V HDMI ( 3 116,40 Kč [2]) RAM: Corsair DHX 4096MB (Kit 2x2GB) 800MHz CL4 ( 2 283,40 Kč [3]) HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F1 3.5" 750GB HD753LJ ( 2 734,20 Kč [4]) Case: Chieftec LBX-01B-B-B ATX 400W ( 2 499 Kč [5]) Power supply: Fortron Epsilon 80PLUS 600W (2 273,60 Kč [6]) -------- Total: 18874,80 Kč || €755 || $1180 [1] http://www.alfacomp.cz/php/product.php?eid=1051400830981S1H0G [2] http://www.alfacomp.cz/php/product.php?eid=10514008M1WZ09EG4H [3] http://www.alfacomp.cz/php/product.php?eid=1051400820TW000GR8 [4] http://www.alfacomp.cz/php/product.php?eid=10514007H1TZ000FQ1 [5] http://www.alfacomp.cz/php/product.php?eid=1051400890UQ00083R [6] http://www.alfacomp.cz/php/product.php?eid=10514008O0V41NMG33
But I am not really sure if I can afford it now. I have that money, but you know… What about worse time :-) You can comment that machine from technical side… :-)
